CU Boulder Adding Feature Twirlers

There's some very exciting news for twirlers in Colorado: CU Boulder is bringing back feature twirlers to the marching band in Fall 2016!

It's been 15+ years since there have been any twirlers in the marching band. This year will start with 2-3 feature twirler positions and there's the possibility of a twirling line in the future, too.

This will be a great option for Colorado twirlers who wish to stay in-state and it will bring college twirlers back to our state. 

If you are a twirler who is interested in auditioning, you can find all of the details here. Auditions will be on Saturday, April 23, 2016.

Summer Registration is Open

Registration for summer classes is now open!

I'll be offering classes in Boulder and Lafayette this summer.  Students in these classes will have the option of performing in both the Boulder County Fair and the Louisville Labor Day Parade.  We had such a good time twirling in both of these parades last year!

Register by May 22 to receive the Early Bird Discount.

Boulder Class

When: Wednesdays, June 5-July 24, 2013 (8-week session) Where: Boulder Circus Center (4747 N. 26th St.) Time: 3:30-4:30 pm

Lafayette Class

When: Thursdays, June 6-August 1, 2013 (8-week session; no class 7/4/13) Where: Arapahoe YMCA (2800 Dagny Way, Lafayette) Time: 3:00-4:00 pm

For both classes:

Ages: 6-11 Cost: $85 Baton: $25 or bring your own (Mindy must approve) Performances: Students in this class have the option of performing at the Boulder County Fair Parade and the Louisville Labor Day Parade!
